My name is Helen Truong and I speak design.
I like to use this skill to help designs speak human.
Hello there.
I am a self-starter who isn’t afraid to look beyond conventional means of learning and am constantly keeping my skills and knowledge
up-to-date by reading and following industry news and best practices on a daily basis.

My love-affair with design started when I was around 12 and creating your own blog skins makes you the cool kid on the block (themes as they’re now known as). Learning Photoshop on my own pushed me to learn to figure out how to translate my ideas digitally. Moving forward, I later went on to run a graphic design forum. Although the graphic design forum is no longer around, I’m still constantly finding ways to quench my thirst for learning new things, trying out new design techniques and solving design problems that connect product brands to their consumers both visually and emotionally.

When I am not busy working on projects for clients, I like to work on my own passion projects to keep my creative juices flowing, creating digital art pieces, shooting urban photography, checking out new restaurants in town and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Sometimes I post my thoughts and ramblings on Medium.
